Conceived as an intelligent system, it is based on simple, shared components that give rise to a family of versatile products.
The tabletop version, now reissued, is the core from which the entire system is developed.

Its structure is essential but adjustable in height and inclination, composed of a few curved metal elements.Two “C” shaped profiles of different lengths form a Y-shaped support, which allows the lamp to be oriented by a simple opening and closing movement.

The light source is contained in a frame that supports and orients it, equipped with an E27 socket, which guarantees adaptability over time.The frame also incorporates a reflector and a protective grid. Sintesi can be folded for compact packaging. Its straightforward and functional design reflects the practical approach of Ernesto Gismondi, who combined technical vision, production efficiency and attention to quality, giving shape to a timeless icon.

Produced from 1970 to 1983 and slightly modified in 1999, today it has been rebuilt replacing the classic light bulbs with high efficiency LEDs. Eclisse’s new exclusive colors are made with an innovative and sustainable vacuum metal deposition process called PVD. This PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) treatment is a “clean” technology both because of the type of metal used and because all emissions into the atmosphere are completely eliminated. The subsequent transparent protective coating phase uses a solid paint that reduces the use of solvents from 75% to less than 5%. The finish obtained is particularly resistant over time.
