The smaller version of the PH 5 was introduced in 2017, and created in accordance with Poul Henningsen’s original design with a top shade of approximately 30 cm in diameter. Henningsen had a distinct scientific approach to light and designed numerous luminaires based on the three-shade-system that he invented in 1925 to shape excellent non-glare lighting. He used the logarithmic spiral as the foundation and accomplished even distribution of light with the multi-shade-system, which made it possible to curb glare and shadow. In 2020, the PH 5 Mini Monochrome series is introduced to emphasize this striking design for a more current look. The mat painted metal shades come in black, white, and in ultra blue for the bolder decorator.

The AJ lamp family is considered to be the design Jacobsen is most famous for worldwide. Apart from the AJ Mini Table, the AJ family consisted of a table lamp too, a floor lamp, a wall lamp as well as a table mounted lamp that were all to be found around the SAS Royal Hotel after its inauguration in 1960.

Louis Poulsen reintroduced the AJ Mini Table, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the hotel, in 2020. Also, as part of the celebration and in the spirit of Arne Jacobsen, all the AJ lamps again became available in their stylish original stainless steel versions. Today, the classy AJ Mini Table complements every windowsill, bookcase, or small table and provides comfortable high quality lighting.

The sculptural aesthetic of the floor lamp takes centre stage in any interior, almost like a piece of art. Its 360° rotating disc, which has a different finish on each side, allows us to play around and decide how the light should be reflected in the room – and exactly how the room should be reflected in the mirror surface of the lamp. Moonsetter invites us to interact and explore – seeing not only the quality of the design – but feeling it and sensing it too. Moonsetter blurs the lines between sculpture and light source and serves an aesthetic purpose as well as a functional one. The impactful size of Moonsetter naturally attracts attention and creates a room within the room that can be shaped through reflections and light. The lamps are numbered in editions of 100 pieces per edition and will be engraved with edition number and a unique sequential number from 1 – 100.
