Eclisse es un equilibrio entre forma y función, diseño y utilidad. Compuesta por la yuxtaposición de tres casquetes hemisféricos en los que dos forman la carcasa externa y una gira internamente «eclipsando» la fuente.
Eclisse también se puede instalar en la pared.

Los nuevos colores exclusivos de Eclisse se llevan a cabo con un proceso innovador y sostenible de deposición de metal al vacío denominado PVD. Este tratamiento PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) es una tecnología «limpia» tanto por el tipo de metal utilizado como porque se eliminan por completo todas las emisiones a la atmósfera. La siguiente fase de recubrimiento protector transparente utiliza una pintura sólida que reduce el uso de disolventes del 75% a menos del 5%. El acabado obtenido es particularmente resistente al paso del tiempo.

Eclisse, designed by Vico Magistretti in 1965, won the Compasso d’Oro Award in 1967 and become ambassador of Italian design worldwide. Eclisse is an avant-garde balance between form and function, design and utility. The concept’s foundation lies in its functionality of adjusting the intensity of light through its rotating inner shade that “eclipses” the light source. In fact, with a fixed outer shell and a moveable inner shell the lamp can provide direct or diffuse light.

Eclisse in part of the permanent collection of the most important design Museums, amongst many the MoMa in New York and the Triennale Design Museum in Milan.

Originally created by Vico Magistretti in 1989, Florian low table is one of the new 2021 designs remastered from the Acerbis archives. Ingeniously functional, the Florian represents Magistretti’s supreme simplicity, with a lightweight, multi-level table built on a foldable structure inspired by a broom handle, which collapses flat to hang on the wall as a graphic object of circles and lines.
In Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces’s version, the Florian’s size adapts to modern living, its ash wood frame folds smoothly and quickly with a modern brass mechanism, and its graphic impact is bolstered with lacquered tones of mustard yellow, dark green and brick red — a democratic passe-partout for the contemporary home.
