The Z Chair was originally launched in 1957, and was manufactured at Christian Jensen’s Møbelsnedkeri, founded by Poul Thorsbjerg Jensen’s grandfather. In 2025, dk3 relaunches the iconic design and, like the original, the chair is still manufactured in Denmark.

With its classic and timeless design, the Z Chair not only embodies the design principles of its era, but continues to arouse admiration today.

Baia Chair

The Baia Chair features an extremely advanced construction that requires a wide range of techniques and a high level of craftsmanship.

The frame is available in chrome-plated or powder-coated steel and is constructed using a complex welding technique. It consists of a flat steel seat frame and thin, curved steel tubes with a small rounding at the end of each leg. The short distance between the front legs leaves space and visibility to the rear legs, creating symmetry and highlighting the fine balance between the vertical lines of the thin steel tubes and the striking horizontal elements.

The C-shaped backrest is available in an upholstered or solid wood version. The solid wood backrest is manufactured using a special steam bending technology and then sanded by hand. The upholstered backrest is sewn by hand and is available in a wide range of fabrics and leathers. The padded and cushioned seat offers excellent comfort and is available in both leather and fabric.

The various features of each component are perfectly balanced in the design and give the chair an elegant lightness and a truly unique expression.

Jeppe Utzon Table #2

Jeppe Utzon Table #2 is an exclusive solid wood table, created for dk3 by Danish designer and architect Jeppe Utzon. The table has a characteristic expression with clear references to the traditional Danish interpretation of the Shaker style. It has been created with a focus on simple and functional design, respecting the raw material and aiming to use wood as optimally as possible.

The natural structure of the wood is beautifully united with the unique joinery joints. One example is the use of wooden wedges in the leg construction. In addition to ensuring the stability of the construction, the wedges take center stage in the visual design of the table, rather than being hidden.

Jeppe Utzon Table #2 is the successor to Jeppe Utzon #1, which was launched by dk3 and Jeppe Utzon in 2015. Like previous generations of his family, Jeppe Utzon has gained international recognition as an architect, and both Jeppe Utzon #1 and #2 represent the “architect-designed tables” category in the most distinguished way.

Royal System® comes in various types of wood and consists of wall rails, shelves with brass or stainless steel hangers and various cabinets. Some of the cabinets are made with a hand-woven veneer front, and cabinets with sliding doors are available in wood, clear glass or corrugated glass. The LP storage cabinet offers elegant storage for record players and LP records, and the small, elegant desk with built-in drawer invites a quiet moment of writing or reading.

The system can be customized in a multitude of individual combinations, whether as a classic bookcase, modern desk or library with cabinets and drawers. Already in the 1960s, Royal System® was known for its versatile design and was referred to as the shelving system with “up to 16 million combination options”. With its flexible, space-saving design, this timeless classic offers numerous possibilities for a personal and modern expression.

In the 1950s and 1960s, Royal System® was manufactured in Poul Cadovius’ own factories in Denmark, and was also produced under license in more than thirty countries. This shelving system is still considered one of the greatest success stories in Danish furniture history, so dk3 was able to relaunch the iconic system in 2010 with both pride and modesty.
