Flexform
Made in Italy means prestige, quality and family essence. At least this is the case of Flexform, whose collections survive the ups and downs of time. Romeo, Pietro and Agostino, the Galimberti brothers, set up a small workshop in 1959 in Meda, a town in the province of Monza and Brianza, in the Lombardy region. The made in Italy boom came after the Second World War, when the focus began to be placed on design, but without forgetting functionality. And the concept of interior design became established between the 1950s and 1960s. It was in this context that Flexform was born, defending the Italian way of doing things. The entire manufacturing process takes place in Italy, from the design concept to the workmanship of Brianza’s upholsterers, carpenters and cabinetmakers. One of Flexform’s hallmarks is the choice of quality materials, goose down, Piedmont textiles and leather tanned in the Vicenza area. The firm has worked with leading designers such as Joe Colombo, Asnago-Vender, Cini Boeri, Rodolfo Bonetto and many others. With the architect Antonio Citterio, Flexform began a path of professional growth that has continued uninterrupted until the present day. For over forty years Flexform has been selling lifestyle, a product to be enjoyed with elegance and exclusivity for a demanding customer.
