Sintesi Lamp
Introduced in 1975, Sintesi was Artemide’s first lamp signed by its founder, Ernesto Gismondi. Conceived as an intelligent system, it is based on simple, shared components that give rise to a family of versatile products.
The tabletop version, now reissued, is the core from which the entire system is developed.
Its structure is essential but adjustable in height and inclination, composed of a few curved metal elements. Two “C” shaped profiles of different lengths form a Y-shaped support, which allows the lamp to be oriented by a simple opening and closing movement.
The light source is contained in a frame that supports and orients it, equipped with an E27 socket, which guarantees adaptability over time. The frame also incorporates a reflector and a protective grid. Sintesi can be folded for compact packaging. Its straightforward and functional design reflects the practical approach of Ernesto Gismondi, who combined technical vision, production efficiency and attention to quality, giving shape to a timeless icon.
