DCW

DCW Éditions is a Paris-based publisher of furniture and lighting designs. Its founders, Phillipe Cazer and Frédérik Winkler, describe it as a company that produces honest, well-thought-out and well-made objects. Objects in which the functionality and quality of the materials and finishes are influenced by a delicate formal poetry, showing the history that each product hides behind it. DCW Éditions is a brand for design lovers, which combines craftsmanship with new technologies in order to offer products that will accompany us for a long time. The DCW Éditions firm began producing the work of Bernard-Albin Gras, the Gras lamp being the first articulated lamp of the 20th century, highly praised at the time by Le Corbusier. In 2013 they presented the Mantis lamps by Bernard Schottlande and later they reissued the pendant lamp Here Comes the Sun (1970) by Bertrand Balas. Currently, DCW Éditions is developing towards more modern and innovative lighting with the production of IN THE TUBE, created by architects Dominique Perrault and Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost.
