Founded in 1956 by Maddalena and Fernando de Padova, the firm is defined by its Nordic style and design with an innovative ambition that characterizes them. De Padova began in the 1950s selling Scandinavian furniture in his store in Milan. In the sixties in Padova he opened his emblematic showroom on Corso Venezia in Milan and later began his relationship with designers such as George Nelson, Charles & Ray Eames, Achille Castiglioni, Dieter Rams and Vico Magistretti. For more than 50 years of activity, De Padova has remained faithful to its original philosophy: design as an instrument for the diffusion of an emotion. The collection comes from a deep knowledge and passion for classic design pieces and craftsmanship, along with research and innovation. Over time, De Padova’s special and unique language, elegance and sober simplicity, has been confirmed.
