Since its founding in 1938 by Hans and Florence Knoll, Knoll has been internationally recognized for creating designer furniture that inspires, evolves and endures. With hundreds of awards to his credit and products represented in major art museums around the world, Knoll has more than 30 pieces of furniture included in the Design Collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. His collaborations with pioneering designers such as Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Harry Bertoia, Florence Knoll, Frank Gehry and Eero Saarinen and bold contemporary creators such as Don Chadwick, Jehs y Laub, José D’Urso and David Adjaye have resulted in a unique portfolio of products that define Knoll’s past and future.
