Porada
“Solid wood that is worked with the artisan skill of someone who knows how to transform a log into a small artistic opera.” From this passion was born Porada, a furniture company founded in 1968 by Luigi Allievi with the intention of continuing the production of chairs started in 1948. The Porada collection includes numerous pieces developed in collaboration with important Italian and foreign designers such as Tarcisio Colzani, Marconato & Zappa, Opera Design, Giovanna Azzarello, Marelli&Molteni, Giuseppe Viganò, Gino Carollo and Stefano Bigi.
Excellence in quality and experience in woodworking have given Porada a solid and defined identity that finds its expression in elegant home furnishing products that contribute to characterizing the domestic landscape. The key to Porada’s success in international markets is due to the ability to find in any piece the balance between form and function, together with an advanced and modern taste that is at the same time sober and essential for products intended to last for years.
