Lampampe Lamp

Lampampe is one of a series of simple Japanese paper lamps that Ingo Maurer developed in the late 1970s and early 1980s. In this design, he revisits the form of traditional lampshades, yet formulates a new aesthetic. The lampshades are manufactured by hand in our production plant in Munich. The paper creates a soft and completely glare-free light. The paper is slightly wrinkled as a deliberate design element.
