Originally created to accommodate visitors in the dining areas of the Royal Festival Hall, Robin Day’s RFH Armchair is characterized by its gently curved backrest and outward-extending arms. Rich in materials, the chair’s striking form is achieved through a process of pressing layers of beech and walnut veneer.
