In his latest works for Acerbis, Giacomo Moor imbues the Alterego sideboard, high version, with the mirage of suspension in a marvel of design ingenuity. The full-height sliding door seems, impossibly, to support the weight, which is instead supported by the transparent methacrylate base. The contrast of wood and hand-brushed metal underlines the hand-crafted identity of the sideboards.
The two pieces share the same measurements and structure, but the asymmetrical positioning of the sliding door makes each one unique and ideal for pairing.
