The Duo lamp was conceived by André Ricard for “managers’ desks”, considering that they were analyzing many papers and had to have good focal light, but also that they received innumerable visitors, and that the view of those sitting in the chairs of confidants should not be obstructed by a large or ostentatious lampshade. Duo serves both purposes perfectly. It illuminates with proximity and does not interrupt the visual horizon.
The luminous flux is adjustable by the independent rotation of its glass screens, which can be opaque to focus the light on the work surface or translucent to provide general illumination.
