Ribes Outdoor Sofa

Ribes is a modular seating system that emphasizes versatility, customization, color, and material innovation. Sofas, central and end units, chaise longues, and poufs—available in a wide range of shapes and sizes—can be arranged in an outdoor space according to personal preference, thanks to the exceptional flexibility of the modular components and the wide selection of covers and finishes. The starting point is a futon-style base with flexible fiberglass slats resting on an aluminum frame, to which two types of armrests or backrests can be attached as desired: one featuring an interwoven polypropylene fiber pattern, and another with a bolster cushion. On top are seat cushions designed like comfortable mattresses for lounging, along with various shapes of backrest and armrest cushions—all covered in a new upholstery that gives Ribes a particularly soft, lived-in look. Thanks to its versatility, Ribes can also be reconfigured over time by adding new elements or changing the functional use of the existing ones.
