An eloquent name for a product that invites contemplation. For the Thinking Man’s Chair, Jasper Morrison envisioned a design in which all the elements are functional contributions that ensure the comfort of the seat for prolonged periods of relaxation and pondering: the areas that support the body are made of flat bars and the main structure is tubular; the armchair has armrests equipped with integrated drink rests.
The Thinking Man’s Chair is made of varnished metal, available in pure white, violet blue and oxide red colours. The oxide red version also comes in a special edition embellished with writing that emphasizes the metal structure’s radius of curvature.
