Charles and Ray Eames used various versions of the small LKR chair — including the LSR version with a plastic shell — in the Eames House, their legendary residence in Pacific Palisades. Like all other Wire Chairs, the LKR is available unupholstered, with a seat cushion, or with a two-piece seat and backrest cushion, commonly referred to as the “Bikini” due to its shape. The unupholstered model is also suitable for outdoor use.
