«The birth of Flexform marked the beginning of a golden era for Italian design. The Galimberti brothers, Romeo, Pietro and Agostino, transformed their small workshop into a beacon of excellence in the world of interior design. This coincided with Italy’s cultural and economic renaissance after World War II, a period in which the country leaned heavily toward design, without losing sight of functionality.

The concept of interior design was consolidated between the 1950s and 1960s, and it was in this context that Flexform emerged as a champion of Italian manufacturing. The firm has maintained all its production processes within Italy, from the conception of its designs to its final execution. Quality is evident in each piece, with Brianza upholsterers, carpenters and cabinetmakers contributing their craftsmanship.
